The instrument is designed and made as per the National Standard GB/T4929 : “Test Methods for Dropping Point of Lubricating Grease” and ASTMD 566. It is suitable to determine dropping point of lubricating grease.

Grease cup: It is made of chromium-plated brass; its inner diameter

Is ɸ 9.92mm; orifice is ɸ 2.8mm; height Is 12 mm

GD-270A DROPPING POINT TESTER (AIR BATH)

Purpose

The instruments is designed and made as per the Industry Standard of Petrochemical SH/T0115 “Test Methods for Dropping Point of Lubricating Grease and solid hydrocarbon”. The instrument is an air bath, and it is used to determine dropping point of lubricating grease and hydrocarbon over 100°C.

 

Technical Parameters

Heating power of electric furnace: 250Wx2;

Heating control: Controlled by bidirectional silicon controlled rectifier;

Dropping point thermometer: 1# thermometer: 0~150°C;

2# thermometer: 100~250°C; min seals mark:1°C.
